Aaron Guy Kelly, Jr ., age 80 of Satsuma, Florida was born February 7, 1938 in Jacksonville, Florida.  He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 7, 2018 at Woodland Grove Heath & Rehabilitative Center in Jacksonville, Florida after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was surrounded by his loving family as he departed this earth.

Aaron was a police officer with the Duval County Road Patrol prior to consolidation in 1968 when it was renamed the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO). He later became a detective with JSO. He used to love to share stories about all the wonderful memories he had from his years with the Sheriff's office.  He also ran his own detective agency for a number of years and later worked at Gulf Life Insurance Company as their Private Investigator.

He was an avid Hunter and loved Bass Fishing.  He had several opportunities in his life to fish the Bass Master Tournament.  Aaron was either in the woods or on the lake.  His sense of humor, wit, and ability to tell engaging stories will be greatly missed.

Aaron was preceded in death by his parents Aaron Guy Kelly and Joyce "Georgia" (Bethea) Kelly Williams.

He is survived by his son Scott Kelly (Jan), son Craig Kelly (Christy), daughter Paige Ray (J.G.), and son Michael Kelly and Grandchildren Stacie, Taylor, Scout, Kendall, Sophie, Emily, JR and numerous cousins.

The family would like to say a special Thank You to Patricia at Woodland Grove Health & Rehabilitative Center.  The compassion she extended to our father and family is sincerely appreciated.
