Adam Joseph Hyder, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2020. He was 25. Adam was born September 19, 1994, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Adam worked for Shaw's Southern Belle Frozen Seafood. Adam was previously an aircraft technician who served in the United States Army for 31/2 years. He enjoyed reading, playing pool, spending time with friends, family and his beloved video games.

Adam is survived by Susan Edgerton (mother), Jeffrey Edgerton, (father), Stacie Smith (sister), Jarrod Edgerton (brother), Jill Edgerton (aunt), 9 nieces and nephews (Dawson, Dalton, Gabriel, Dustin, Adriel, Kyleigh, Shay, Lexie and Ethan), Maddie Edgerton (sister in law), Lucy Glover (sister in law) and Ryan Smith (brother in law) and his uncles.

Adam was preceded in death by Mike Thomas (father), James Hyder (brother) and all grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, February 18th at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, Florida. Rev. Dr. Arlinda Burks will officiate. Adam's family will be greeting guests from 4-7 pm on Monday evening for visitation. Interment will be in Jacksonville National Cemetery following the funeral service on Tuesday.
