Obituary of Albert Betz

Albert Daniel Betz Jr., 85, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011. He was a loving husband devoted father, grandfather and caring friend to all who knew him and will be missed by all. Albert was born on November 28, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Albert and Margaret Betz. He is preceded in death by his son Albert Daniel the 3rd. Albert was a World War II Navy Veteran that served in the Pacific Theatre on a destroyer. He was an avid sports fan and huge into movie trivia. Albert is survived by his loving wife Barbara Betz of 62, wonderful years; son Phillip (Lanting) Betz; daughter Robin (Russell) Strauss; grandchildren Jason, Aubrey, Tara, Kaleigh and Brooke; sister Barbara Ann (Bob) Arnold; sister-in-law Dorothy Kaler and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, for a funeral service on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 11:00am.
