Obituary of Albert House
House, Albert H. of Jacksonville, FL was born on August 13, 1926 in Chelmsford, Ma. He died at home at the age of 86 on the 20th of Sept. Al honorably served our country during WW2 as a Navy Radioman First Class. He was a devoted family man, and was instrumental in the development of Arlington's Little League Baseball program where he coached for many years. He was an avid sports fan with season tickets to the Gators for 40 years, and a inaugural season ticket holder for the Jaguars. He was a passionate golfer and was one of the original member of the Dunes and Baymeadow's Golf Clubs. He retired from Bellsouth after 37 years of service. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Lois, of 67 years, his two sons, Don (Marte) of Gainesville, Fl and Gary (Marianne) of Jacksonville Fl, 3 Grand-daughters, and 5 Great-grandchildren. A Gathering of Friends will be held on Friday September 28 from 6-8 p.m. at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL. In lieu of flowers the family wishes contributions to go to Community Hospice.
