Obituary of Alberta Bellamy

BELLAMY Alberta Ruth (Kemple) Bellamy a loving wife of 61 years, devoted mother and grandmother passed away at home Thursday June 13, 2013. She attended Christ Church Pentecostal for over 25 years. She was also a member of the Mid - Pacific Chapter 10 Order of the Eastern Star of Walpahu, Hawaii. Born and raised in Hawaii, she worked as a Chief telephone operator for the Hawaiian Telephone Company during WWII and continued for many years.

Alberta is survived by her caregivers, daughter Odette Bellamy Pitts, granddaughter Ashley Marie Pitts, and grandson Jonathan Mitchell Pitts. She is also survived by her step grandson Jeffery Pitts, and a brother John O. Kemple.

Visitation will be held Friday June 21, 2013 from 6-8 in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday June 22, 2013 with Mrs. Erika Rutherford (a celebrant) officiating. Colorful attire is appropriate for this celebration of life and is also a request by the family.
