Alfred "Al" Durant McClure, age 70 went home to be with the Lord on Saturday February 7, 2026. Al was born September 23,1955. He was born in Pensacola, Fl. He moved to Jacksonville, Fl when he was 3 years old. Al graduated from Sandalwood High School in 1973. For most of his career, he worked as a welder at Ring Power. He was known for his great work ethic and worked many long days just to provide for his family.

Al was an avid Florida Gator fan. He was a season ticket holder for years. He loved riding 4-wheelers, racing his RC cars and all the time he got to spend on Spring Lake with his family. He also loved going to his son's baseball, football, softball, and basketball games. His daughter was in Band, and he loved and never missed a performance.

Al married the love of his life, Tricia 35 years ago on January 18, 1991.

Al was proceeded in death by his parents Hazel and Harry McClure.

Al is survived by his wife Tricia and his children Wayne (Stephanie), Tanya and Tyler. His grandchildren Zoe, McKenna, Kolby, Keagan and Brayden. His sister and brother-in-law Cindy and Tim Cannon. His brother-in-law's Vic (Denise) Henderson and David Henderson.

A visitation and funeral will be held for Al on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Arlington Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Fl 32211. Visitation will start at 1:00pm and Funeral Services will start at 1:30pm. Followed by Burial and Committal service at Arlington Park Cemetery.

Al has requested guests to please dress casually and wear their favorite sports team and jeans.
