She passed away on Monday Nov. 13, 2023, in Jacksonville, Florida. Aloma was born on Nov. 27, 1941, in Charlotte, North Carolina to her parents Raymond Bennett and Clarice Crews - Bennett. She retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield and was of the Baptist Faith. She was known and loved for her consistent presence in helping others and a very giving heart. She was a devoted Wife, loving Mother and Grandmother. She is survived by her two sisters ~ Rayella Woods and Dietra Smith. Also survived by her only child ~ James S. Herrington Jr. Grandsons ~ James S. Herrington III, Wesley T. Herrington, Benjamin T. Herrington. Great Granddaughters ~ Cynthia Herrington, Whitney Herrington, Aubree Herrington, Kelsey Herrington.
