Obituary of Alvina Hock

Alvina Caroline Hock, age 74, passed away on Friday July 17, 2009. She was a loving mother, grandmother as well as great -grandmother, and caring friend to all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her daughter Georgeann Miller and long time companion Bud Corrigan. Alvina was a long time member of the Moose Lodge and held many positions, including Senior Regent. She enjoyed needle work, quilting and gardening when she had the chance. She also loved to travel the world. Alvina is survived by daughter Denise M. (David) Haga; daughter Michelle L. (Paul) Holt; son John L. (Kellie) Hock Jr.; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sisters Susan K. Harris, Lucille Dust, Bernice Brown; brothers Charlie Dust, Larry Dust, Wayne Dust, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, for a visitation on Monday July 20, 2009 from 6p.m. to 8 p.m. and funeral service on Tuesday July 21, 2009 at 11a.m. Interment will follow at Arlington Park Cemetery.
