Obituary of Anna Marks

Anna Catherine Marks, 80, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2008. She is remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and caring friend to all who knew her. Anna was born on January 13, 1928 in Harrisburg, PA., to the late Leroy and Emma Goss.

She is preceded in death by her two sisters Mabel and Romaine.



Anna was a life-time member of the Highlands Presbyterian Church and was chair of the worship committee and participated in the church choir. She was a member of the Crafty Ladies and did volunteer work for Meals on Wheels.



Anna is survived by her loving husband James Marks of 57 wonderful years; three daughters Bonnie Neidert of Crystal River, FL, Debra (Lester) Stephenson of Greenville, SC, and Rhonda (Dann) Dunn of Jacksonville, FL; three grandchildren Daniel Stephenson, Michelle May and James Sneed; three great-grandchildren Andrew, Ruthie and Parker; two brothers and three sisters.



The family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, for a visitation in the funeral home parlor Monday, March 17, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. and a graveside service in Arlington Park Cemetery on Tuesday March 18, 2008 at 3 p.m.
