Obituary

Annamay Molchan of Orange Park, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday May 19, 2019. She was 87.  Annamay was born on March 24, 1932 in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Morris and Catherine (McLaughlin) Hoover.

Annamay attended Moon High and worked as a seamstress right out of highschool. She married and had 8 children. Annamay worked with the ladies auxiliary alongside her husband who was a firefighter. She loved taking trips to Erie, PA where she spent her summers as a child. Annamay was as stubborn as she was funny. She loved country music and going to car shows with her late son John Lee. She also enjoyed watching game shows, going to bingo and doing puzzles with her lady friends. Annamay was a strong independent woman who lived a long full life. For the last two years of her life she was cared for by her daughters Diane Lee and Amy Davis.

Annamay is survived by her 3 sons, Gerald James Lee Sr., Patrick John Molchan, Joseph Roy Molchan; 4 daughters, Diane Lee, Amy Davis, Nancy Lee, Patricia Glenn; 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Annamay was predeceased by her parents, her daughter Linda May Lee Miller and her son John Leonard Lee; siblings Morris Hoover and Geraldine Knapp and brother-in-law Donald Knapp.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, May 23rd at the Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, Florida. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 22nd at the funeral home and family will begin greeting guests from 5-8 pm.  Entombment will be in Arlington Park Cemetery following the service on Thursday.
