Obituary of Arthur Pugh

Arthur Turner Pugh, 83, passed away June 16, 2009. He will be remembered as a most loving and devoted father and grandfather. Arthur was a devout Christian and attended First Baptist Church Downtown. He was a Naval WWII veteran who loved gardening, FOX News and the Weather Channel. He was very generous in supporting many charities, loved to play Rummy and was a first cousin to country singer Tammy Wynette. Mr. Pugh was preceded in death by his son, Mark Stills and daughter Dendra Long. He is survived by his children, Randall Gregg Pugh, Debbie Norsic (Mike), Arthur Caleb Pugh, Joshua Turner Pugh (Kimberly); grandchildren, Angela, Gregg, Stephen, Charlie, Linda and Haley; great-grandchild, Dustin; brother, Harold Pugh (Edith); numerous nieces and nephews, especially Arthur " Wickell" Pugh. Friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday June 19, 2009 from 6-8 pm and a funeral service on Saturday June 20, 2009 at 11 am to be held at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Rd. Interment to follow.
