IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Aubrey
Manning
January 5, 1928 – November 18, 2022
Aubrey Manning was born in Macclenny, FL on January 5, 1928, and died in Jacksonville, FL on November 18, 2022. He was 94 years old. Aubrey was a husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Joy and his seven siblings. He is survived by two daughters, April (LeBlanc) and Cheryl (Lunger); two sons, Michael and Darrell; daughter-in-law, Kathryn; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Aubrey served in the army during the Korean Conflict as a combat engineer and was stationed in Germany. He became an independent owner operator in the trucking industry where he worked into his 70s. He loved to sing and play guitar, work on cars (both mechanically as well as body work) and tinker around. His favorite thing to do, however, was to hang out with his friends and tinkering on things. Aubrey was a very kind hearted and selfless individual, always taking time to help anyone who needed it. He was a man who did not ask for much, but would give his all for any endeavor. He was a hard-working man who took care of his family; one of those of the great generation that had to live through some of the hardest times and he never complained. Aubrey was well loved and respected by his family and friends, and will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the direction and care of Arlington Park Funeral Home
