Audrey Pearl Kantin, age 89, daughter of August and Vera Prahl Schmidt, who was born, February 11, 1928 in Chilton, Wisconsin passed away January 7, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family in Jacksonville, Florida. Growing up in Wisconsin she enjoyed playing music, singing in a band and dancing.  After high school, she worked in a doctor's office and married in a Lutheran Church filled with family and friends.  Audrey was a homemaker until her children were through high school.  She then relocated to Jacksonville and worked in Kantin's Meat Market alongside her husband for several years. She made many long lasting friendships.  Audrey was preceded in death by her parents and sister Bernice Ries in Wisconsin.  She is survived by her wonderful husband of 68 years, Richard Kantin, daughters Pamela Kantin in Jacksonville, Peggy Kantin in Kansas, grandchildren Robin Kantin; Tony (wife Elise) Kantin, great granddaughters Sydney Kantin, nephews and cousins.
