Aurea Morales, 90 passed away peacefully on Monday, March 2, 2020. She was born to Ramon Morales and Bernardina Gauthier on August 24, 1929 in Ceiba, Puerto Rico the oldest of children.

On September 15, 1956 she married Angel Samuel Cordero, and started their family. In 2010 she moved from Puerto Rico to Jacksonville, FL.
She is Survived by her daughter Ivelisse Flores, her son in law Jaime Flores, her 3 grandchildren; Xotchil Flores, Jamilisse Flores and Samuel Flores; 2 great grandchildren, Joanna Delgado and Noah Delgado; Grandchildren Xiomarie Cordero, Irisha Cordero, Nicolle Cordero and Angel S Cordero, and 1 great-grandchild Sophia; sisters, Mary Ayala, Adela Morales, Neida Greider, Ruth Morales, Milagros Morales and Priscilla Morales.

Awaiting her arrival in heaven.... are her parents, brothers, son Sammy and her beloved husband Samuel and many loved ones to celebrate her homecoming.

A celebration of Lucy's life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday March 7th at the Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, Florida 32211.  Visitation will begin at noon and continue until the time of the service.  Interment will follow the service in Arlington Park Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction and care of Arlington Park Funeral Home - (904) 724-6384.
