Barbara (Bobbie) Carnes Stevenson, 88, of Jacksonville, passed away on June 19, 2023, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, June 23, 2023, at Terry Parker Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida and she will be laid to rest at Arlington Park Cemetery.

Bobbie was born in Seneca, South Carolina to Nell & Harrison Carnes on January 12, 1935. She married the love of her life, Billie Wade Stevenson on December 21, 1952, in Seneca, South Carolina. She worked for Southern Bell as an Administrative Assistant for the Bell South Training Center for 17 years. She was a member of the Garden Club of Jacksonville since the early 1950s. She was a devoted member of Terry Parker Baptist Church & was among the first members since 1959. Bobbie's love for the Lord; her husband & family was evident in her daily life. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Convention Disaster Relief Team serving & bringing hope to those in need.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents, Nell & Harrison Carnes.

Survivors include her husband Billie Wade Stevenson, and her children, Cynthia Scheller (Joel), Gregory Stevenson (Tammy), and Bradley Stevenson (Helena). Bobbie is also survived by eight Grandchildren, Jason Stevenson, Brock Scheller, Brittany Stevenson Wright, Connor Scheller, Lani Stevenson, Gabrielle Stevenson, Lauren Stevenson Keehn, & Landon Stevenson. Eight Great-Grandchildren. One sister Mary Alice Waldt.
