Obituary of Barbara Moore

Mrs. Barbara Elizabeth Moore, 77, entered into rest on September 30, 2013. She is remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, doting grandmother and adoring great grandmother. She was born on September 11, 1936 in Providence, RI to the late Arthur and Lillian Twist. She enjoyed many of the joys that life had to offer, including, traveling, gardening and staying abreast with current events. She spent several years as a flight attendant with Eastern Air Lines and had an admirable career with the State of Florida. Barbara is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Douglas Moore, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, James Douglas Moore, Jr. and his wife Erica Moore, her daughters, Kellie Elizabeth Anderson and Terrie Anne Moore-Cusick; grandchildren, James D. Moore III, Thomas S. Cusick, Caitlin Anderson, Brittney Moore and Riley Glynn; great granddaughter, Brielle Moore; sister, Dotty Hawkinberry, many nieces, nephews and friends. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 11:00 in Arlington Park Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL.
