Barbara Newman, 72, passed away peacefully on December 7th, 2024. She was born on March 23rd, 1952, to her parents Robert Franklin McDonald and Barbara Elna Livingston.

Barbara liked to paint, travel, and spend time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed being active in her church and volunteering in her free time. She was the most kind, caring, and giving person in life and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her husband Donald Newman and two brothers Robert McDonald and Michael McDonald. Barbara is survived by her daughter Kelli Newman stepson Donald Newman Jr. grandchildren Connor Belcher, Devin Axtell, Joshua Newman, Hannah Newman, Andrew Newman and Sophia Newman along with numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ms. Newman will have a viewing on Thursday, December 19, from 5-7 PM at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211. A Celebration of Life will be held at Evangel Temple Assembly of God, 5755 Ramona Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205 on Friday, December 20 at 11:00. Interment will immediately follow at Arlington Park Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL 3221.
