Obituary of Barbara Swaw
Barbara Sue Swaw, 77, passed away peacefully November 28th, 2014, at the McGraw Center of Community Hospice of Northeast Florida. She was born on October 6, 1937 in Tullahoma, Tennessee to Cleston N. Loveall and Genevive Wisdom Loveall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex V. Swaw. Barbara is survived by two daughters, Alexis (Don) Bisplinghoff and Kathy (Tom) Naive; grandchildren, Ashley Bourque, Trey Bisplinghoff, Sarah Bisplinghoff, Tori Harper and ScottNaive; great grandchildren, Ryleigh and Hayley Bourque, Ethan and Andrew Harper. Barbara retired from Kuhns Big K as an assistant buyer and as an
auditor with United Paperworkers, both of Nashville, Tennessee, prior to moving to Jacksonville, Florida in 1995.Upon retirement, she lived life to the fullest. Barbara was an avid fan of the Jacksonville Sharks Arena Football team. Her hobbies included crocheting with her many friends in the craft class at Terry Parker Baptist Church. She also was very involved at the Jim Fortuna Senior Center where she enjoyed beading, crocheting and cardmaking with
her friends. She also enjoyed monthly lunches with the Scarlett Red Hatters. She loved to bake, especially birthday cakes for her grandchildren. Barbara enjoyed life, but her greatest joy came from
spending time with her family and her many close friends. A celebration of her life with be held 10:00AM, at Arlington Park Memorial Chapel,Friday, December 12, 2014 with Pastor Manny Keyser
officiating. In lieu of flowers, her families wishes are that donations be made to the Northeast Florida Community Hospice, McGraw Center, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32257
