Barbara Tillson, 88, daughter of Sherman J. Grant and Helen M, Curtis, was born on March 18, 1929 in Auburn, Maine, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at home in Jacksonville, Florida.

Barbara worked the 'Welcome Wagon' and was a purchaser for the Sears Distribution Center, but the best job was mother/home-maker.  She was a devout Catholic who was a member of Blessed Trinity and was very involved in her church community and was known to always have a smile on her face.  Barbara enjoyed playing golf, cards (especially bridge) and was a fabulous dancer (Jitterbug).

She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband, Emery A. Tillson; sister, Patty Bussiere

She is survived by children, Karen Foreman (Michael), Paula Hennessey (Dennis) and Michael Tillson (Kathy); grandchildren, Shaun Foreman, Dennis Foreman, Heather Tillson, Colleen Tillson and Dennis J. Hennessey.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 4-6PM in the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 3PM in the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Rafael officiating. Followed by burial in the Arlington Park Cemetery.
