Obituary of Barney Sorrells

Barnett "Barney" Sorrells, 83, entered into rest on February 21, 2012. She is remembered as a loving, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Barney cherished spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Sorrells; three sisters, Katie Lane, Nadine Bowden and Jeri Dickson and two brothers ,Mallie and Wallace O'Neal she is survived by her children, Dwight Grogan, Wade Grogan and Nan Boyd; grandchildren, Shana, Ashley, Brad, Sunni, Olivia and Michelle; great grandchildren, Michael, Rory, Rylee and Christopher; and her brother, Brantley O"Neal. Family will receive friends on Monday, February 27, 2011 from 5-7:00pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Rd., Jacksonville, FL. Barney's funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the funeral home at 2:00pm with Pastor Al Hicks officiating.
