Barnibus (Barney) Alday passed away on August 4, 2021 at the age of 81. Barney was born in Tallahassee, FL to Eldridge and Attwood Alday. He is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Alday; and sisters, Ruby Duster, Dorothy Lins, and Marie Mabry. He is survived by his sister, Pansy Panehal (Paul); and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Barney a was long standing member of the Calvary Temple Church of God. He was loved by all who knew him.

Services for Barney will be held on Thursday August 12, 2021 at Arlington Park Funeral Home (6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville FL 32211). Visitation will be 10-10:30am, and funeral service from 10:30-11am with Bobby Mullaly officiating. A committal service will follow at Westview Cemetery (5229-5333 Picketville Rd, Jacksonville FL 32254). To anyone planning to attend the service, in lieu of flowers, please bring the "$800.00 you owe him."
