Berna Powell Smith, 85, passed away on December 22, 2013. Berna leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Carolyn Smith. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville .The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home with Funeral Services to follow in the Chapel on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, Cerebral Palsy of Northeast Florida, 3311 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32224, 904-396-1462 or Special Olympics Florida, 1105 Citrus Tower Blvd, Clermont, Florida 34711.
