Obituary of Bessie Hines

Bessie (Betty) E. Hines, 91, born November 23, 1923 in Dinas Powis, Wales to Henry Leonard Cox and Alice Florence Lily Cox, went to her heavenly home December 27, 2014 in Jacksonville, FL. She enjoyed sewing, reading, spending time with her family and her Sunday School class. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years William J. Hines in 1997 and Trevor Hines (son) in 2012. She is survived by daughters Faye (LeRoy) Guillotte, Beverly (Ken) Hardy and daughter-in-law Michele Hines. She is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.A visitation is scheduled for 12:00 PM-1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Kernan Blvd. Baptist Church, 4000 Kernan Blvd. South, Jacksonville, Florida 32224 and a Celebration of Life beginning 1:00 PM, also at the church, with Pastor William Crook officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Arlington Park Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32211.
