We commemorate the passing of our earth angel, Bessie Estelle Mancill who passed away on February 18. 2022 . She ascended peacefully during her sleep in Jacksonville Florida less than one mile from where she was born, May 28, 1935. Bessie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernest Mancill (1984) as well as her only son, Ernie Mancill, Jr (2020). She is survived by her daughter Angela Tekin; granddaughters Meredith Tekin (Cory Holmes) and Allison Tekin; Sister Carolyn Kahle (Jerry) and numerous nieces and nephews. She was an avid FLORIDA GATOR, paddler and camper; lover of nature and all things on this earth. The family appreciates the work and mission of Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, the caregivers at her nursing facility and the love and prayers of all her friends. Thank you all for the great life she had!
