Betty Jean Booth 95, born February 26th, 1931 in Knoxville, Tennessee, went to her heavenly home March 10, 2026. She loved serving and caring for others, especially raising her four children. Her passion was her family and she dedicated her whole life to being a caring, loving mother. She always enjoyed attending church with her friends years ago, as well as shopping at thrift stores. She had a great sense of humor and loved being the center of attention! Betty was an avid Tennessee Vols fan. She will be greatly missed by friends and family.
Survived by:
Daughters: Jacqueline Kohl, Karen Moore, Elizabeth Thomas. Brother: Michael Newman, Sister: Susie Gilbert.
Grandchildren: Eric and Kaitlin Bishop ( Maddie, Emmy, and Scarlett ).Hanna Thomas. Ashleigh Lenderman ( Tyaleigha ) Amber Lenderman (Breonna, Mariah, Richard ).
Many loved nieces and nephews.

Husband: Jack Booth, son, Brian Booth, grandsons, Coby Luper, Jason Bishop, and Alrick Taylor.
Parents: James Robert and Edna Newman
Sisters: Ida Williams, Bobby Long, Grace Sharpe. Brothers: Junior Newman, Ronnie Newman, Jimmy Newman.
