Obituary of Betty Watkins

Betty Sue Hall Watkins, a native of Jacksonville, Florida and resident of Ponte Vedra Beach, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2009 at her home. She was a loving, caring and giving Mother, Grandmother and Great grandmother. Betty Sue enjoyed spending time reading, walking, being in the mountains of North Carolina and taking leisurely cruises. She was also a member of Palms Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Watkins and her son Danny Hall. Survivors include her children, Franklin R. Hall, Jr. (Barbara), Patricia Sue Hall Davis (Robert), Donna Watkins and Laurie Mahaffy (James);9 grandchildren and13 great grandchildren; her sisters, Bobbie Womble, Peggy Hamlin, Dottie Shaw and Martha Davis and also her best friend and companion, Phillip Davis. The family will greet friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, Sunday, February 8, 2009 from 4:00-6:00p.m. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 9, 2009 at 2:00p.m. in Arlington Park Cemetery.
