Obituary of Beverly Thorn

Beverly Ann Thorn age 59, passed away peacefully Mon. Oct. 1, 2012. She was a native of Pittsburgh, PA, and a resident of Jacksonville, Fl.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenny Beaird and beloved son, Thomas F. Clemens Jr., her parents, LCDR Paul and Jean Thorn, her sisters Jennifer L. Gregg and Laurie J. Donovan. She is survived by her son, Kevin C. Russ of Jacksonville, FL. Her granddaughter, Tabitha Russ of Ridgeland, SC. Two sisters, Cheryl Ramsey of Jacksonville, Fl. And Susan (Steven)Ye of Ashville, NC. One brother, Douglas (Jeannie) Thorn of Mobile, Al.; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

She attended Bishop England High School and graduated from R.B. Stall High School in Charleston, SC.

After many years in the mortgage/banking industry, she decided to pursue her dream and became a registered nurse where she could use her talent of nurturing and caring for people.

Beverly loved the Florida Gators and rock n' roll. Her kind spirit and especially her infectious laughter will be missed by her family and many friends.

A memorial mass will be held Fri. Oct. 5, 2012 at 11:00am at Christ the King Catholic church, 742 Arlington Road North, Jacksonville, FL, with a reception to follow mass.
