Obituary of Billie Ferrell

Billie McKee Ferrell, 86, passed away August 4, 2009. She is survived by her daughter Janice Ferrell Harris; grandsons Jeff (Vivian) Harris and Chris Harris; great grandchildren Abigail, Anna and Colton; sister Harriett Mette; brother William McKee and numerous nieces and nephews. Billie is a native of Jacksonville and graduated from Andrew Jackson High School. She was a member of Oceanway Assembly of God, retired from Memorial Rehab, was a long time member of the Eastern Star #222 and was very active in community projects having worked closely with Florida Home Extension. The family will receive friends Friday, August 7, 2009 from 6-8:00pm and a celebration of Billie's life, officiated by Pastor Ken Barney, will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, August 8, 2009 in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home. Billie will be laid to rest next to her husband, Clarence E. Ferrell, in Chapel Hills Memory Gardens.
