Billie Rebecca Smith Thrower (Becky), passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024 after a lengthy illness.  Becky will be missed but will hold a special place in our hearts forever.

She was born on January 22, 1933 in Perry, Georgia.  At a young age her family moved to Jacksonville, Florida.  She graduated from Andrew Jackson High School where she met the love of her life Robert Eldridge Thrower, Sr. and they married in 1951 (73 years of marriage).

Becky is survived by her husband, Robert E. Thrower, Sr., 93, and three children:  Robin Thrower McDurham  (John), Cindy Thrower Henehan (Todd) and Robert Eldridge Thrower, Jr. (Amy). She is preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Leah Thrower Richard, and a sister Virginia Smith Hale.

Becky is also survived by: Five grandchildren; Mason Henehan (Leia), Leah McDurham King (Darryl), Hannah Thrower, Hailey Thrower and Noah Thrower.

Two great grandchildren; Jake King and Anna King.

The memorial service will be held in the chapel at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Fl on April 26th, 2024 at 11:00 AM.

The burial will be at Arlington Park Cemetery, located across the street from the Funeral Home on Lone Star Rd. Jacksonville, Fl.
