Obituary of Billy Allmond

Billy Monroe Allmond, 76, has joined his father Taylor Monroe T.M., his mother Gladys, and his daughter Debra at their picnic site in Georgia. The date of their long awaited reunion was Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Billy leaves many behind to celebrate his wonderful life and great intellect. They include his loving wife of 49 years, Goldie Allmond; his mom Lolie Allmond; his sister Bobbie Marbut (Wes); children Jim Allmond (Ginna), Keith Allmond (Paulene), Susan Blyar (Richard) and Theresa Ratliff (David); along with his grandchildren Philip, Ashley, Kyle, Kristin, Torie, Danielle, Preston, Kathryn and Joshua; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was an avid football and baseball fan. Go War Eagles, Go Dawgs, Go Braves! Billy loved math, enjoyed shopping the ads and garage sales, researching American Indian histories, and mastered the game of JUMBLE. His sense of humor and wicked smile will be sorely missed. If you are available, you are kindly invited to attend a memorial service in Billys honor. It will be held Friday, October 3 at 2 pm at Regency Baptist Temple, 1130 Rogero Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32211.
