Bobbie Jack Carter, 87, passed away peacefully Monday, September 3, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born on December 17, 1930 to Walter and Bridgett Haynes in Bristol, Virginia.

Bobbie loved caring for animals, being outside in her garden, spending time with her grandchildren, and shopping on the Home Shopping Network.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce Edward Carter, her son Bruce Edward Carter Jr., her daughter Barbara Carter, and grandson Douglas Paul Myers Bell.

She is survived by her daughters; Rita Sue Funkhouser, Janet Marie Nordolf, Bobbie Jean Bell and Deborah Ann Coffin son; Gary Allen Carter, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 5-7PM in the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211. A funeral service will be held 10 am, Friday, September 7, 2018 in the chapel with Minister Bradley Blocher officiating. Entombment will immediately follow in the Arlington Park Cemetery.
