Bonnie Jean House Boland, 79, passed away on July 24, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born August 13, 1946, in Toledo, Ohio, to Leona and Orman F. House.

Bonnie built her career in nursing after studying at the University of Virginia. She dedicated decades of her professional life to patient care, culminating in her role as head of infection control at Baptist Hospital's downtown campus, where her work protected countless patients and staff.

An avid Girl Scout in her youth, Bonnie carried that spirit of service throughout her life. In her later years, she found joy in the music of Elvis Presley and the timeless films and music of Julie Andrews. She was also an avid sports fan and long time supporter of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Above all, Bonnie was a devoted mother who put her daughters' needs before her own, time and again, without hesitation.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jayne Boland Robertson, her husband Jason Robertson and their three children, Julie, Josh, and Josie; and Jennifer Boland, along with her partner, Jayne Sabolinski.

Arlington Park Funeral Home is honored to serve the Boland Family. A funeral service will be held at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church (7801 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32211) on Tuesday, August 4 at 11:00 a.m. with a graveside service immediately to follow at Arlington Park Cemetery. All are welcome to attend.
