Brenda Eleanor Darcy, 75, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Boston, MA, passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, after a long battle with Alzheimer 's disease. Brenda dedicated her life caring for her family and others. She was an active member of the Catholic Church and was often heard singing hymns as she went about her day.

Brenda is preceded in death by Joseph, love of her life for 37 years, sisters Genevieve Matthews and Nancy DiBenedetto, and brother Stephen Hallisey. Brenda is survived by her sister Elizabeth Reagan and brother George Hallisey, loving sons and daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 742 Arlington Road, Jacksonville, FL, Monday, January 21 ^st , at 10 am. Interment will be at Arlington Park Cemetery immediately following the mass. There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, January 20 ^th , beginning at 4:00 pm at 12402 Gately Oaks Lane E, Jacksonville, FL. All are welcome to visit with family during this time.
