Obituary of Brian Lopez

Brian Fermn Lpez, the son of Mary and Jose Lopez, was born on April 1, 1963 in Manhattan, New York and passed away on August 6, 2015 in Jacksonville, Florida.

He was raised in Fajardo, Puerto Rico where he graduated from Roosevelt Roads High School. He then proceeded to graduate from University of Maryland with a Bachelors Degree in Business.

Brian was a man who valued knowledge and education. He was compassionate and lived a life dedicated to giving. All those privileged to know him admired his intellect and selflessness as well as his trademark humor. He never failed to bring light to anyone he surrounded.

He loved to scuba dive, sail, and canoe and he admired the ocean. He also loved to read and was fascinated by the art of words.

He is survived by his loving wife Daisy Lopez, his two children Brian and Briana Lopez, his mother Mary Lopez, his two brothers Patrick Lopez, Erik Lopez and sister Lorraine Lopez, as well as his extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday August 16 at 3:00pm, at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32211 with Father Rodolfo Godinez officiating.
