Caleb Elisha Gottberg, born on January 11, 1983, in Jacksonville, Florida, entered this world as a twin with his brother Simon. Growing up as the youngest of three boys, Caleb developed a deep bond with his family and the many friends he made over the past 41 years. He graduated from Sandalwood High School where he lettered in varsity cross country running and cheerleading. He went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and later, a Master's Degree in Education from the University of North Florida. Caleb developed a deep passion for educating our youth and developing future leaders.
Caleb was known for his boundless positivity and energy, channeling his enthusiasm into numerous goals and consistently surpassing them. His impact on those around him—whether family, friends, or students—was profound and lasting. Caleb was someone who always put others first, offering unwavering support and loyalty. In his free time, Caleb enjoyed running, cooking and spending time with his friends, family and pets. He is remembered for always lighting up the room and making everyone else around him feel special.
Throughout his career, Caleb dedicated himself to education, also making significant contributions in finance, real estate, and property management. His multifaceted career was a testament to his versatility and drive. Caleb was cherished as a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of many.
Caleb passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 29, 2024, at his home in Jacksonville, Florida. He is survived by his parents, Eric and Alice, and his brothers, Jeremy (and Danielle) and Simon (and Ashley) as well his many beloved nieces and nephews.
May Caleb rest in peace, forever remembered for his kindness, dedication, and the positive impact he had on all who knew him.
