Obituary of Carl Morrison

Carl Leroy Morrison, 67, born July 28, 1947 in Miami, Florida to Frank Kenneth and Dorothy Jean Seymour Morrison, passed away February 6, 2015 in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.Carl was a member of VFW Post 129 and loved living in and around the Jacksonville Beaches. In his last days he enjoyed reading the Holy Bible, a special gift given to him by his Sister, Linda. He was preceded in death by his Father; Brothers, Bobby Morrison, Larry Morrison and a Mother-In-Law, Ruby McClanahan. Carl is survived by his Mother, Dorothy Jean Seymour Morrison; Children, Sonya (Danny, Sr.) Stalnaker, Paulene (Steve) Burns; Grandchildren, Autumn Stalnaker, Danny Stalnaker, Jr., Amber Burns, Brandon Burns and Michael Joseph Seibert. A Visitation Gathering is scheduled for 11AM to 12 PM, Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in the Chapel of the funeral home. An interment will be held 2PM, Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida with military honors in recognition of AMH3, Carl Leroy Morrison's service to our grateful nation.
