Carl Henry Russell was born in Cades Cove, Tennessee on July 03, 1931. Carl was blessed with a large and loving family. He married his best friend, the late Nancy Russell, on January 23, 1949 in Tennessee. Together they raised four loving children.

In 1954 Carl & Nancy moved to Jacksonville Florida where Carl started out working at the shipyard. He later earned his spot at a Cabinet Shop where he became the owner only two years later. After the Cabinet Shop business ran for a few years he decided to sell it and start the journey of General Contracting and Real Estate Investments. Carl was a hardworking man and the Lord blessed him with the gift of carpentry. After becoming a believer, his faith was rooted at Southside Assembly where Carl used his gift to help all over the world volunteering for Mission Trips to help build/rebuild homes and Churches. Carl aka "Paw Paw" was a very loving and generous man. He will be dearly missed by all of his loved ones.

Carl is survived by his three sons, Claude Russell, William Russell, and Ricky Kimbrough; his daughter, Ann (Bill) Watson; his ten grandchildren, John Russell, Laurel Russell, Lacey Russell, Josh Russell, Brent Parker, Scott Parker, Troy Parker, Gina Daniels, Troy Watson, David Kimbrough; and his eighteen Great Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by the love of his life, Nancy Buckner Russell; his parents, Cowan and Cora Russell; all 7 of his sisters; all 3 of his brothers; daughter-in-law, Jimmi Lee Russell; and his great grandchild, Maddison Russell.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Arlington Park Funeral Home.
