Carol D. Mays, 71 passed away peacefully Thursday, December 5, 2019 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born in Augusta, Georgia to Charles Dickson, Jr. and Lucile V. Usry on March 3, 1948.

Carol graduated high school in Augusta, Georgia and moved to Jacksonville in 1967, where she worked at ATT.  She was a loving wife, mother and a happy homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, William D. Mays.

She is survived by children, Steve Riska (Becky), Charles D. Mays (Terra), Charlene Taylor (Larry); brother, Tom Dickson (Nancy); sister, Sally Hurst (John); grandchildren, Chase, Sierra, Brooke, Haley, Jake, Matt, Brittany, Kaitlynn, Reagan and Curtis.

Graveside service is scheduled Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 2pm in the Arlington Park Cemetery, 6921 Lone Star Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32211 with Michael Ross officiating.
