Carol Ann Mitchell, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, November 15, 2019. She was 58. Carol was born October 17, 1961 in Mineola, New York, the daughter of James and Leila (Oney) Flynn.

Carol loved her husband, her children and grandchildren. She loved working in the garden and decorating her yard. She had a laugh you could hear across the house and a sense of humor that would make you blush. Carol enjoyed going garage sale shopping in her free time. She never turned down good gossip.

Carol is survived by her husband, Wayne Mitchell; daughters, Amanda (Trip) Yedlicka, Sarina (Eric) Manning; son, Matthew Mitchell, and grandchildren, Charity, Faith, Bella, Christian, Lilyana, Aviana; brothers, Billy, Barry, TT, and Jimmy; sisters, Sharon, Debbie, Susan, Jo Jo, and Jessica. She had many loving nieces, nephews, and her dog Sophie.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, James and Leila; and sisters, Sandy and Donna.

A Celebration of Carol's life will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday December 3rd at the Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, Florida 32211. Rev. Casey Zipperer will be the officiant.  Arrangements are under the direction and care of Arlington Park Funeral Home - (904) 724-6384.
