Carolyn Oleta Johnson Beard, 80, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida

She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Clyde William Johnson and Lillian Beatrice Hill on April 19, 1938.

In life she was a homemaker, housekeeper and avid Christian of the Church of God of Prophecy.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her youngest son, Emory Alan Beard (February 20, 2005 at age 39 and her husband of 48 years, Emory Roy Beard (August 20, 2009 at age 69.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Carol Beard Huffman; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

An internment ceremony will be held Friday, June 15 ^th 2018 at 1 pm in the Arlington Park Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32211 with Sister Jeanette Alcott officiating at the graveside ceremony.
