Carolyn Harrison Chatham, age 82, passed away on January 30, 2018, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born on August 28, 1935, in Sunshine, North Carolina, to the late Eli and Dessie Towery Harrison.

In life, Carolyn enjoyed her faith, music, and spending time with her family and friends. She especially liked walking at the mall and talking about her grandchildren. She was an avid gardener and loved her flowers and butterflies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Greg Chatham.

Her survivors include her brother Jerry Harrison (Connie), of Shelby, North Carolina; her daughter Marsha Davison (Wesley), of Jacksonville, Florida; her son Patrick Chatham (Eddie Carlton), of Fort Mill, South Carolina; and three grandchildren: Matt Davison, Marissa Davison, and Jaiden Carlton.

The family will receive guest for visitation 9:45 to 10:45 am, February 3, 2018 at 1st Broad Baptist Church Cemetery, 2470 NC-226 Bostic, North Carolina 28018.

A celebration of Life Service will begin at 11AM, Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 1st Broad Baptist Church Cemetery, 2470 NC-226 Bostic, North Carolina 28018 with Reverend Robert Bradley.
