Obituary of Carolyn Howard

CAROLYN HORSLEY HOWARD

Carolyn Horsley Howard, 79, entered into the gates of heaven with her heavenly Father Jesus Christ on September 19, 2013. Born in Arley, Alabama to Floyd and Esta Mae Horsley, she was the oldest of seven children. She was a devout Christian, and steadfast in her faith. Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband of Samuel C. Howard of 59 years, she is survived by her sister Fran Albert, brother Russell Horsley, her daughter Toni Holland (Dale), son Samuel C. Howard III (Camille), daughter Lisa Puskas (Bill), son David Howard and her grandchildren who meant the world to her Molly, Ben, Samuel IV, Cody, Dawn, Isabella, Olivia, with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Carolyn worked at the Morocco Shrine Temple and State of Florida Department of Regulations and was affiliated with the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, ABWA, and loved to travel with her Arlington Baptist Church group The Trail Blazers. Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, for a visitation on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and a funeral service on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow.
