Obituary of Carolyn Lucy

Carolyn Poplin Lucy, 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the McGraw Center for Caring. She was an Awesome Mom, an Incredible Meme and a great friend to all. Carolyn was born in Albemarle, North Carolina on July 15, 1932 and was raised a true country girl. She is preceded in death by her husband Al in 2006. She is survived by her son Alan; her daughter Beth Quinif and son-in-law Eric and their two children Evan and Emory who loved their Meme very much. A celebration of life will be held at Chets Creek Church, 4420 Hodges Boulevard, on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 6:oo pm. The family would like to thank the staff at the McGraw Center for the wonderful and loving care they showed to our family. Mom, you are loved and missed and will forever be in our heartsUntil we meet again.
