Mrs. Carolyn Jones Macy, 101, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Carolyn was born on October 10, 1923, to Mahlon Hall Jones and Velee Martin Jones in Lake Alfred, Florida. She graduated from Landon High School in Jacksonville, Florida and attended the University of Miami.

After many years of dedicated service with various companies, she retired from Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals as District Secretary in Jacksonville. Carolyn married Louis Warren Macy Jr, on September 7, 1946.They were married 37 years and were longtime members of Arlington United Methodist Church.

Together they were avid boaters, members of the Jacksonville Outboard Club and loved entertaining family and friends. As a passionate gardener she was known for her green thumb. Carolyn served two terms as President of the Junior Woman's Club of Arlington and served as President of The Women in Construction Organization for two years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Macy Jr.; her brother, Martin Jones; and her sister, Elizabeth Macy.

Carolyn is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Hall and Judy Macy; her daughter and son-in-law Pamela and Jerry Mills; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Graveside service to be held at the Arlington Memorial Park in Jacksonville, Wednesday April 23 at 11:30 AM.
