Obituary of Cecil Howard

Cecil L. Howard, 89, entered into rest on October 16, 2011. He is preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Dale Howard. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 69 beautiful years Sammie J. Howard; his son, Stephen Earl Howard of Summerville , SC ; grandchildren, Jay Thomas Howard, Cape Carl FL and Sydney Ellen Howard of Columbia , SC ; and two great grandchildren. Cecil was a Retired Master Chief in the United States Navy and also retired from the Citadel College . He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 5-7:00pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road , Jacksonville , FL. A military funeral will be held on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 10:00am at Jacksonville National Cemetery , 4083 Lannie Road , Jacksonville , FL.
