Cecilia Ann Maher age 89 who was born May 2, 1929, in Glassport, Pennsylvania passed away December 25, 2018 in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.

Cecilia was a consummate homemaker, raising 5 children in a loving home.  She loved beauty, nature, the outdoors and her community.  Gardening was her passion, and she was always greatly involved in community groups and her church.  She was beloved by the neighborhood children, deeply touching and inspiring all those she met and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Cecilia was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Rae Maher, her stepson Thomas Rae Maher, Jr; (Timmy), son Jeffrey Lawrence Maher, brothers Ernest, Thomas, Albert and John (Jack) Gribschaw, sister Marie Danko, and grandson Alexander Maher

She is survived by son David Paul Maher; daughter Mary Ann Cecilia Maher and son James Regis Maher; brothers Stephen Gribschaw and Ray Gribschaw, sister Celine Christensen; grandson Scott Maher; granddaughters Julia Maher and Rebecca Maher, great granddaughter Daisy Maher, step granddaughters Leanne Seng and Colleen Maher and step greatgrandchildren Bibiana, Brendan and Brannoc Seng.
