Chadwick L. Snell of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2007 at Palm Garden Nursing Home after an extended illness. Chad was born October 3, 1932 in Sidney, Nebraska to Glynn and Frances (Willis) Snell. He attended public school in Kearney, Nebraska and served our country in the United States Marines during the Korean War where he was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a retiree of the Local 177 IBEW Electrical Union.
Chad is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Arlyss, his son, Kyle (Tracy), daughters; Stephanie and Sarah, sons; Curtis (Rhonda) and Troix all of Indiana, brother; Kenneth (Reba) of Jacksonville, and numerous nieces and nephews. His parents and three brothers preceded him in death.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 15th in Arlington Park Cemetery with Chaplain SueAnn Maclin officiating. The family will greet friends on Thursday, June 14th from 6-8:00pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211
