IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles Patrick
Faggart
September 3, 1993 – April 10, 2025
Charles Patrick Faggart was born on September 3, 1993, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Charles Faggart II and Tracey Karpas. He departed this life on April 10, 2025, at the age of 31.
Charles was a proud Jacksonville native who brought warmth and laughter everywhere he went. From an early age, he showed a remarkable drive and dedication to excellence. He attended Brookview Elementary, followed by Kernan Middle School, and graduated from Sandalwood High School.
Throughout his academic journey, Charles was an exceptional student, consistently earning A/B Honor Roll recognition—a reflection of his hard work and determination.
Charles had an undeniable passion for food, which led him to pursue his dream of owning a food truck. "Chop It Charlie's" was more than a business—it was an extension of his heart, creativity, and love for bringing people together through great meals.
In 2012, Charles met his "Partner and Best Friend for Life," Caitlyn Benz. Together, they created a beautiful life and made countless cherished memories, especially with their beloved son, Lincoln Faggart. Charles was a devoted and loving father—Lincoln was truly the light of his life.
Charles had a huge, caring, and giving heart. He touched the lives of many with his generosity, humor, and uplifting spirit. To know him was to love him, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Joyce and Paula, who no doubt welcomed him with loving arms.
Charles leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Lincoln Faggart; his loving partner, Caitlyn Benz; his mother, Tracey Karpas (Pete); his father, Charles Faggart (Kate); his brothers, Anthony Sanchez and Justin Faggart; Steve, Patrick, and Jennifer and a host of cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
His life was a gift to us all, and his legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will live on in our hearts forever.
