Obituary of Charles Kearley
Charles Henry Kearley, 82, passed away on December 3, 2008. He is remembered as a loving husband, adoring father, and doting grandfather and great-grandfather. He is preceded in death by his son, Charles H. Kearley, Jr. (Juanita). He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 60 beautiful years, Ruby Kearley; son, Robert N. Kearley; daughters, Diann L. Zambito (Frank) and Susan R. Dowling (Jonnie); son, Alan L. Kearley (Ann); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Kearley was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He retired from the United States Navy having served in WWII, The Korean War, and Vietnam . Mr. Kearley also retired as a correctional officer for the state of Florida . He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening, having been known for his tomatoes. Family will receive friends, Monday, December 8, 2008 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville , Florida . Mr. Kearley will be laid to rest in Arlington Park Cemetery .
