Services to be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 beginning with a visitation at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph's Historic Catholic Church: 4124 Loretto Rd, Jax, FL 32258. The graveside service will be family only. Don is survived by his son Paul MacLean (Kim), and daughters Melissa MacLean Turner (Frank), Jan MacLean, and Marjorie MacLean. He is also survived by nine grandchildren Robert (Stella) Angelieri, Adam (Jo C) Cross, Matthew (Jodi) Turner, Julianne Turner, Allison MacLean (Brennen) Staves, Caroline MacLean, Cameron MacLean, Majd Ajameyeh, Mourad Ajameyeh and great grandchildren Lawson, Landon and Liam Turner. Don was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Georgia Molter MacLean, son Charles "Mac" MacLean (Christine), Melanie MacLean Cross (Richard) and Marilyn Julia MacLean. Don was a Native of Jacksonville and highly involved in the community. He was elected to the City Council and took part in the 1968 Consolidation of Jacksonville. He was a retired Attorney who specialized in Real Estate. Don always gave 100% to any projects he was involved in. He was a mover and shaker in the community. He was also involved with the local Boy Scouts of America and helped shape the Greater North Florida Council. Don was a past President of Rotary Club International. Don was the oldest member of the American Red Cross Volunteer Life Saving Corps in Jacksonville Beach at the time of his death. He was a past Captain of the Corps and also served on the Board of Directors for a number of years. Don and his wife, Georgia, were early members of the Christ the King Parrish in Arlington, and lately of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mandarin. He loved attending mass at St. Joseph's and was active for several years in the Men's Club there. Don was an admirable father and provider for his family and children. He will be greatly missed. He was a fantastic person to everyone he met.
